OC base maker
Pick a pose and a body type, and get a clean line-art base to draw your OC on. Transparent background, ready for any art app.
Free: 2 images a day, 5 with a free account. No card.
What you get
Plain black line art: a blank figure with simple base clothes, no hair and only light guide lines on the face. That's on purpose. You draw the hair, face and outfit, so the character is yours.
How to use a base
Open the PNG in your art app, lower the layer's opacity, and draw your OC on a new layer above it. Change the proportions as much as you like. A base is a starting point, not a rule.
Female OC bases
Pick Feminine, then a body type: slim, average, curvy, athletic or chibi. Any of the 7 poses works. If you just need one now, 12 of the free bases below are feminine. Like the others, they wear plain base clothes, so the outfit is up to you.
Where it falls short
Hands and feet can come out a little stiff, and sitting poses sometimes need a fix at the hips. Check the base before you trace it.
33 free OC bases
Standing, sitting, running, waving, from behind and chibi, in feminine, masculine and androgynous builds. Transparent PNGs, free to download, no account.
Questions
- Are the OC bases free?
- Yes. The 33 bases on this page are free to download, no account. Making a new base uses one of your free daily images.
- Is the background transparent?
- Yes. Every base downloads as a PNG with a transparent background, so you can put it on a layer under your drawing in any art app.
- Can I use these bases for adopts or commissions?
- Use them for your own drawings, adopts and art you post online. You don't need to credit us, but it's nice if you do. Don't sell the bare base itself as your own base.
- Are there nude bases?
- No. Bases come with plain, simple base clothes on. Draw the outfit you want on top.
- Do you have female OC bases?
- Yes. 12 of the free bases on this page are feminine: standing, hand on hip, three-quarter, sitting, running, waving, from behind and chibi, plus curvy, athletic and slim bodies. To make a new one, pick Feminine and the body type you want.
- What happens to my pictures?
- Pictures you upload and images you make are kept for 30 days, then deleted. Only you can see them. Only upload your own characters and drawings.
