Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what The OC Maker (theocmaker.com) collects and why. The service is run by Jianwei Li, sole trader, Building 11, Liyuan Xincun, Majialong Community, Nantou Subdistrict, Nanshan District, Shenzhen 518052, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China. Contact: support@theocmaker.com.

What we collect

  • Account. Your name and email, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google.
  • What you put into the service, so we can provide it to you.
  • Purchases. Waffo Hong Kong Limited is our Merchant of Record and collects your payment details. We only get what we need to give you what you bought: the order, amount, status and date. We never see your full card number. Waffo's policy: https://waffo.com/privacy-policy.
  • Usage. If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, Google Analytics records which pages you visit and your browser type.

Cookies

We use cookies that keep you signed in and remember settings like the theme. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them. We don't use advertising cookies.

Who processes data for us

Cloudflare (hosting, database and image storage), Waffo Hong Kong Limited (payments), Google (sign-in if you choose it, analytics if you accept it), and an email provider for account emails.

To make your images and text, what you type into the forms and any picture you upload go to Yir, an AI gateway that passes them to Google's Nano Banana 2 image model; to AIsa, an AI gateway that passes text-tool requests to OpenAI's GPT-4.1 mini; and to OpenAI for content checks. They're used only to make and check your results.

We don't sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Pictures you upload and images you make are deleted after 30 days. Account data stays while your account exists. Delete your account in Settings and we remove it, apart from purchase records the law requires us to keep.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how it's used. Email us and we'll reply within 30 days. EU residents can also complain to their data protection authority.

Where data is processed

Our providers may process data in the United States, Hong Kong and other countries, under their own safeguards for international transfers.

Children

The service isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you're under 16 in the EU or UK (or under the age of digital consent where you live), ask a parent or guardian before you make an account.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top.
